I propose that we referred to a gastroenterologist or hepatologist.
If this weight gain, fluid accumulation in the abdominal cavity, fluid can be removed through a procedure known paracentesis. In liver disease, the liver is not able to efficiently produce a protein called albumin ... Containing the liquid, normally in a container of the person, but now leaks and accumulates. There is also a condition, such as converting encephalopathy, in which the body is capable of a protein, as is known, ammonia, urea in the body known to get rid of ... remains in the blood and the blood-brain barrier and brain. There may be a patient, slightly confused, disoriented, but also changes in sleep patterns. Patients with liver disease, the cause, you may feel tired and flu-like symptoms. If placed on steroids to help the inflammation in the body, can easily develop osteopenia on.

You have not mentioned, further evidence that the blood work. If you have an ultrasound or CTExploration, it would be if your liver is enlarged, is caused by damage to liver cells and the body's immune system reacts.

There are many causes for the damage to the liver cells ... to see if any of these situations apply to you: alcohol, drugs, chemical exposure, viral infections such as Hepatitis ABC, biliary obstruction / malformations / infections, genetic disorders, metabolic disorders, parasitic infections, cardiovascular disease, fatty liver, mushroom poisoning, tumor / growth / cyst / cancer and other things.

There are several blood tests the doctors to see if you have any problems with the liver. Liver enzymes can be displayed when the damaged cells, liver function tests show whether the cells are able to have all the functions, the liver as a whole to keep the body well. The viral liver function tests, if it uses a virus, the liver cells to self and others and replicate. However, some patients do not have liver problems appear in the blood tests, even if arand very advanced disease (I do not know why this happens, but it does).

Frankly, I think it would get a second opinion, ask if need to. Sometimes a doctor is missing May, another to see it immediately. However, it is better from a professional that I can be seen already mentioned, since the knowledge they have developed a rather general practitioner.

It's just a suggestion ... no previous medical history and clearly see ... We can not know what can happen. I'm going to say that his liver has doubled. I hope this is help for you. I also suggest that check the function of the thyroid gland.

The best test for the liver, a liver biopsy ... , because they look directly into the liver tissue, is not only a movie.

My best wishes for you ... I hope you find what is happening and can be treated quickly.

No one is here to help, because these problems can probably thousands of different things responsible. You need to find a doctor and get tests done to find out what is wrong. A blood test can think of a problem, but further tests must be conducted to determine what is really wrong. Nobody is the answer to this question is likely to be a doctor, even if it does not psychic and can not navigate on the Internet. They do not know their history performed or the results of tests already.

They seem to be very unhappy, then please go to ask for help. If a doctor can not help you in your search.

I know it sounds crazy, but possibly a problem with Lyme disease. It can occur in this, and do not select a few blood tests, lumbar punctures, even if it ends in. I think you should see a gastroenterologist and too fast! Do not wait for that. Joint pain is a sign of Lyme disease. Deer tick bite. This can happen to anyone. It depends on where you live, and you may not know that you've bitten. Consult a physician.
