I would like to see get rid of my big old TV and in a position to digital cable on my Dell. How is this possible? Can I control this? Or do you need a computer to get there?

If you do, you can visit an electronics store and get composite video cable. Normally it takes two, 1 for video on the monitor, and 1 for the audio to the monitor.
